Hey, my name’s Maelee and I’m a curly color specialist. I love bright and bold color, and my passion is bringing vibrant hair to the curly community while maintaining hair integrity. I've been a licensed stylist since 2019 and began my natural hair journey in 2014. After learning to care for my curls I was eager to experiment with color, but was scared I would damage my natural texture. After receiving my cosmetology license I spent my first 2 years in the industry learning more about curls, and how to achieve bright colors without compromising the health of the hair.
Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, I've always had a passion for creativity, and have truly found my outlet in creative color. I've always been inspired by alternative fashion and it has defined my style as an artist. From the age of 14 I began experimenting with my own hair and quickly fell in love with adding pops of color into my hair.

VHS tapes and watching them on the same VCR I’ve had since I was a kid. Some of my favorite tapes include bootlegs of Ghost In The Shell, Belladonna of Sadness, and Over The Garden Wall.
